Lesa Manfre - Partner - President
Lesa joined L.A.N. in 1989 as a sales assistant. In 1994 Lesa was promoted to Sales and Office manager. In 1998, the owner of L.A.N. retired after 40 years in the industry. At this time, with 9 years of sales and marketing experience, Lesa assumed the role of President to carry on the tradition of exceptional value and service to L.A.N.’s clients. Lesa is currently in her 15th year as President and is enjoying the opportunities involved with growing client relationships while managing the infrastructure involved with the corporate operations of the company. L.A.N.’s client service focus has helped the company grow throughout the years and has allowed L.A.N. to satisfy corporate furniture and office design needs in the metropolitan Chicagoland area and surrounding suburban community. The company’s strategic location on Wacker Drive, directly across from the Merchandise Mart has enhanced the service support available to L.A.N.’s client base. Lesa enjoys being an active member of The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
Mike Battaglia - Partner - Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Mike joined L.A.N. in January of 2000. Previously, Mike attained his BS in Management and Marketing at the University of St. Francis (USF), on a full scholarship. Mike earned numerous collegiate awards including the NCAA Athletic/Academic Achievement and USF academic achievement awards. Mike was an accomplished soccer / football player; he was Team Captain, Player of the Year, NCAA All-Conference, and was named to the prestigious NCAA II All-American Team. Mike quickly made himself one of the top sales associates at L.A.N. and was promoted in 2003 to Vice President of Sales and Marketing; recognizing his ability to develop and grow new and current client relationships across all market segments. Mike has comprehensive knowledge of all company product lines; he has been recognized in the industry for his exceptional customer service with consultative value exceeding customer’s expectations. In January 2005 Mike was promoted to partner at L.A.N. Mike is an active member of The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, the Italian American Police Association and an associate member of The Fraternal Order of Police.
Kevin Kaczmarek - Senior Account Executive
Kevin joined L.A.N. in March 2009. Previously Kevin was senior sales executive with a Chicago Haworth dealer for 12 years where he was responsible for generating new business and managing his project team. Kevin’s focus at L.A.N. is new business development while maintaining his client relationships over his 17+ years in the industry. His success is due to his commitment to his clients. As the main point of contact throughout the entire process, Kevin will ensure your project is completed with the best products, on time and on budget. Education= BS in Business Marketing from Eastern Illinois University.
Ted Borowski - Account Executive
Former member of The United States Navy and proud alumnist of the Wisconsin Badgers Big Ten Football Team. Ted brings numerous years of experience and contacts to L.A.N. Ted began his career in the office furniture industry in the early 60’s as a manufacturer’s representative. During the mid 80’s Ted owned his own sales representative group in the office supply and office furniture industry. Ted also has experience with the dealer side of our industry. Today Ted is L.A.N.’s Senior Account Executive specializing in the Northern Suburbs.
